Here are the answers to our most "Frequently Asked Questions" about FLCC.
  • How large is FLCC? FLCC is a 36-hole facility with a driving range, two chipping greens, a practice bunker and practice green. All together, there are 300 acres of land located just ten minutes from downtown Fort Lauderdale.

  • Is FLCC a private Club? Yes. FLCC is a member owned Equity Club. Only members and their guests are permitted to play. Additionally, only members and their guests may utilize the dining/bar facilities. All guests, whether for golf or dining, must be accompanied by the member.

  • How many golfing members do you have? There are just over 450 Golfing members. With 36 holes, FLCC is below the average number of golf members per course which leaves plenty of room for tee times. About 40% of the membership is seasonal although they pay year-round.

  • Are tee times required? Although not required, they are recommended to ensure the start time of a members' preference. Tee times can be made as early as 72 hours in advance and are mainly needed for Saturday mornings.

  • Is it easy to pick up a game? Yes! Tuesday is Ladies Day. There are Men's Groups on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. Another group of men and women (of all handicaps) play on Tuesday and Thursdays at 1 p.m. The 9-hole ladies play on Thursday mornings. Many Executives seem to play on Wednesday and Friday afternoons. Saturday morning is also a popular time for men's groups.

  • Is there cart fee every time I play? Yes. The cart fee for members is $25 per play. For volume users, the Club promotes both an Annual Cart Plan and Seasonal Cart Plan.

  • Is walking the course permitted? Yes. Members may walk the course anytime except on Saturday mornings. There is an $8 walking fee.

  • Are there any tennis courts? No tennis courts.

  • Are children under 18 years of age permitted in the dining room or to play golf? Yes! Parents are encouraged to bring their children to the Club. Holiday events are planned throughout the year for children. The golf professionals also hold clinics and a summer academy for kids. From brunch to dinner and out on the course, children are a wonderful site at the Club.


  • What is the dining room dress code? Jackets are not required for dining, although tee shirts, tank tops and short shorts are not acceptible dress. Traditional golf attire is expected on the golf course along with soft spikes.

  • Does the membership include my spouse? Yes.
