Golf at its Finest

Two distinctly different golf courses

The two golf courses at Fort Lauderdale Country Club are of a traditional layout that have proven to provide challenges for players of all abilities, while at the same time being player friendly for newer players. A perfect match!

Unlike most Florida golf courses, Fort Lauderdale Country Club's trees, rolling hills, and bunker configurations can mentally place the golfer in the northeast United States. With exceptional drainage, it is not to be taken lightly that our members are out enjoying the courses and practice facilities typically well before other local courses are open for play.

Exceptional drainage - play when other courses are closed

Our exceptional drainage, proves again and again that our members are out enjoying the courses and practice facilities typically well before other local courses are open for play.

Mature landscaping, free of houses

On the courses, golfers experience manicured tees, well groomed fairways, manageable rough, and smooth, quick rolling greens. Both courses enjoy scenic vistas and open layouts free of homes. Our North course boasts over 7,100 yards of challenging golf. Our South course plays more like a links course. Neither course at Fort Lauderdale Country Club is considered harder nor easier than the other, and each presents different challenges to our members. Both novice and scratch golfers will leave either 18th green satisfied and challenged.

Challenges for all skill levels

Tee boxes are spread apart and accommodate four sets of tees making our courses playable and enjoyable for all skill levels. The option of playing two courses means tee times are easy to find and members can be confident that they can "just show up" and will likely get on the course.

State-of-the-art GPS and carts

All carts are equipped with the state-of-the-art Visage GPS system allowing accurate distances to each daily tee and pin settings. Many now have USB ports for charging your phone or own GPS tracker.  New hand-carts are available to you if you'd like to walk the course.

Pro Shop and staff

Our pro shop serves as Members' source for all their golfing needs. It is fully stocked with new equipment from leading manufacturers in the game making it the perfect place for members to freshen up their game or attire. Members have access to reduced pricing, minimizing the need to shop anywhere else.

Our qualified and friendly golf professionals offer a wide range of services, from equipment advice, clinics, to individual lessons from our accomplished teaching professional and other PGA staff.

Practice facilities

The old saying goes "practice makes perfect." FLCC provides the ability to practice exactly what you need to improve your game. Multiple short-game practice areas feature every type of rough you might experience on the courses, multiple bunkers, and a challenging putting green. A newly renovated double-ended driving range with both grass and the latest all weather surfaces allow infinite practice options. These extensive facilities and ease of availability of our teaching staff allow members to improve their game as much as they wish, as often as they wish.

"I was concerned about joining a club and just playing the same course again and again. The two courses here are so different in their own ways that I am never bored. Each time out is a different challenge!"
Ron C 2008.

With nearly 300 acres of parkland for just golf, the courses promise challenges, triumphs, and the pure thrill that comes with the game.
