The two golf courses at the Fort Lauderdale Country Club are of a traditional layout that will surely test the player of all abilities.
Unlike most Florida golf courses, the Fort Lauderdale Country Club's trees, rolling hills, and bunker configurations can mentally place the golfer in the northeast United States. With exceptional drainage our members are out enjoying the courses and practice facilities typically well before other local courses are open for play.
On the courses, golfers experience manicured tees, well groomed fairways, manageable rough, and smooth, quick rolling greens. Our North course boasts nearly 7000 yards of challenging golf, while our South course is 200 yards shorter and plays more like a links course. Neither is considered harder nor easier than the other and present different challenges to our members.
Tee boxes are spread apart and accommodate four sets of tees making our courses playable and enjoyable for all skill levels. Both novice and scratch golfers will leave the 18th green satisfied and challenged.
The ability of playing two courses means tee times are easy to find and members can be confident that they can "just turn up" and will likely get on the course.
All carts are equipped with the state-of-the-art Visage GPS system allowing accurate distances to each daily tee and pin settings.
Our pro shop serves as members' source for all their golfing needs. It is fully stocked with new equipment from leading manufacturers in the game making it the perfect place for members to freshen up their game or attire. Members have access to member pricing, reducing the need to shop anywhere else.
Our qualified and friendly golf professionals offer a wide range of services, from equipment advice, clinics, to individual lessons from our accomplished teaching professional and other PGA staff.
The old saying goes "practice makes perfect." FLCC provides the ability to practice exactly what you need to improve your game. Multiple short-game practice areas feature every type of rough you might experience on the courses, multiple bunkers, and a challenging putting green. A newly renovated double-ended driving range with both grass and the latest all weather surfaces allow infinite practice options. These extensive facilities and ease of availability of our teaching staff allow members to improve their game as much or as little as they wish, as often as they wish.
|"I was concerned about joining a club and just playing the same course again and again. The two courses here are so different in their own ways that I am never bored. Each time out is a different challenge!"|

With over 280 acres of parkland for just golf, the courses promise challenges, triumphs, and the pure thrill that comes with the game.
