North Course Renovation 2019

North Course Updates

The renovation of the championship North Course began on April 1, with an anticipated completion date of November 30, 2019.
Kipp Schulties of KS Designs, LLC is the architect heading up the renovation.

This renovation comes at a time when other local private golf and country clubs are closing their doors.

"Reinvestment into a club's infrastructure is vital to the success of not only that club, but of the golf industry as a whole." - FLCC General Manager Michael O'Brien.

The result will be a distinctly different golf course. The scope of work not only includes the replacement and expansion of the greens, but also goes further with replacement and/or relocation of all bunkers,
and providing tees between 4,500yds and 7,300yds, making the course more enjoyable for both men and women of all abilities.

This new course design will be just one more thing to add to the extensive list of advantages that sets Fort Lauderdale Country Club apart from the competition.

"During the project, we anticipate growth; once the North Course is complete, however, we fully expect that rate to increase rapidly," - Membership Director Valerie Roca.

Fort Lauderdale Country Club has put together some attractive incentives for potential new members to join before the completion of the new course.

"We couldn't be more thrilled with this project approval, and are excited to further our reputation for being the premier golf club of Broward County," - Club President, Lee Patterson
